Equity scholarships and bursaries
In addition to the QUT scholarships and bursaries awarded each year, the Faculty of Health Equity Committee offers five $1000 equity bursaries to support students experiencing hardship.
Students who are unsuccessful in gaining either a scholarship or bursary will be considered for one of the five Faculty of Health Equity Committee bursaries on offer.

Faculty of Health Equity Award
A Faculty of Health Equity Award worth $400 is awarded each year to an undergraduate or postgraduate student enrolled in the Faculty of Health. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional application, determination and enterprise in any year of a Faculty of Health course. Staff in the Faculty's Schools make nominations to the Equity Committee.

This includes Vacation Research Experience Scholarships (VRES), honours scholarships, research scholarships, student prizes and the Executive Dean's Commendation scheme.
